The 1975 – If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know)

Finally, the day is here, the looming release date for The 1975’s latest single ‘If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know)’ has been causing fans agony over the past couple of months since its live debut back in February. Since then fans have been obsessively streaming and ripping the live audio to get their fix and now we have been served this certified tune on a golden platter.

This song encapsulates everything fans know and love about The 1975’s biggest pop hits, its got synths, pounding basslines, guitar lines that swirl with reverb giving off that classic 80s Tears For Fears vibe, and obviously it wouldn’t be a 1975 song without a ripping saxophone solo by the one and only John Waugh.

‘If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know)’ is track 16 of 22 from the band’s upcoming 4th studio album, ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’ out May 22nd.
